    Description

    DESCRIPTION:
    This auction is for an early composition & cloth toddler boy doll for display or "restorations". Measures 13" tall with composition head & cloth body straw stuffed torso, the lower arms are composition with fingers scuffed off at the tips and missing on the right hand,  the left hand is missing the index finger. He has brown cloth shoes that are part of his legs.  His face resembles that of a Kathe Kruse doll, unknown maker he has faint markings at the back of the neck that are too worn to see, he is metal clip jointed at the shoulders and hips, reference shows similar dolls made around 1915.  A sweet face with painted blue eyes, a white accent dot to the side of each pupil, he has brown eye brows and closed mouth, rose color blushed cheeks. He has painted molded orange brown hair.  Composition shows overall wear, I believe paint touch up at one time, I do not know his history.  Wears red & white top with cords.  A unique toddler doll for restoration, collection or display!
