Up for auction is an 1862 , and Confederate States & The United States Notes with all having the same Serial # 20916.
This note appears to be in an  ABOUT UNCIRCULATED condition.
These notes are hand numbered and signed. The State of Louisiana Will pay to the bearer at the Treasurer's Office the denomination shown on the notes. Dated February 24th, 1862.  Had an Auditor's signature and the Treasurer's signature.  Please note that they took either a newspaper and was on the back of notes but in this instance, they took other denominated notes and printed on the backs and then they could cut whichever note they needed to use on any given day.  It is a beautiful item to add to anyone's collection!!
