    Description

    1864 One Hundred Dollar 0 Confederate States Currency Loan Sheet Uncut.  It is in as found condition. There is some old scotch tape on the front helping hold it together. It is very fragile and must be handled with extreme care to keep it from falling apart, has tears, crinkles, and spots of paper that have fallen off mostly on edges and corners. Please see all the photos for the best description and ask any questions that you may have. Notice the single loan on bottom sheet, this one is completely uncut. Measures 22.75" long x 17" across. Engraved by Archer & Halpin, Richmond, VA, printed by Evans & Cogswell, Columbia, S.C. Authorized on first day of April 1864 , to be paid at 6 percent last date July 1st 1884 first date July 1st 1864. Notice the C.S.A seal on back in red ink as well as the pencil drawing of the birds and bullets.
