19" ANTIQUE COMPOSITION DIONNE QUINT DOLL ORIGINAL CLOTHES DRESS COAT HAT SHOES

Description

Listed is a darling 19" antique composition doll.  This doll is unmarked however I believe her to be one of the large size Dionne Quints.  This doll is in excellent original condition.  Her composition facial finish is especially nice, showing no significant lines, and no cracks, and wonderful coloring.  Her brown eyes open/close with full lashes that show some minor crazing due to age.  Her chubby composition body is in excellent condition too however her stringing is a little loose.  Again, no cracks or paint flaking.  The doll has no markings however her quality construction and nice clothing suggest Mme. Alexander.  Her mohair wig is original and does show some thinning. (check pics)  Her clothing is complete and original.  She is wearing a white cotton onesie, full slip and dress plus a lovely pink rayon silk coat with matching bonnet/hat.  Her black patent leather shoes and socks are original too.  The doll is immaculately clean and comes from a nonsmoking home.
