19" early 1922 composition baby marked: N.D Co in original pink dress outfit GC

Description

19" early composition shoulder head incised on back: N.D.Co 1922 with painted blue eyes, painted upper lashes (most are gone on left eye). red accented nostrils, blushed cheeks, red closed lips, molded brown hair. Back of hair shows several minor color rubs with more on the top of the head, a few in front. The face shows small amount of very faint spidering, has flaked paint on nose  and around the mouth, under the chin and on the front & back plate.  The right arm is rather good with  an edge rub on the middle fingertip, & tiny spots of paint flaked off (doll shows no signs of current flaking). The left arm has a slightly raised compo line across the palm of the hand, and much paint loss. The original cloth stuffed body is in good aged condition with age related discoloration and a rather crude cloth repair at back of right arm opening.....please see picture. Baby wears original pink gauzy cotton dress trimmed in pink checkered fabric at the neckline and arm edges, and around bottom of skirt, with two rows of pin-tucks around bottom of skirt.  She also wears  original white cotton one piece undergarment and white cotton knit long stockings with tabs to pin to the undergarment (or a diaper).
