26" LARGE CHUBBY COMPOSITION MAMA DOLL ORIGINAL DRESS SHOES CLOTHES HORSMAN

Description

Listed is a darling antique Mama doll. made circa 1920's. This doll is in excellent original condition for her 80-90 years.  She measures 26" and has a large child size composition head, chubby arms and lower legs with a cloth stuffed body.  She has extra padding on her back side to make it possible for her to sit easily.  Her composition is in very good original condition.  She has only one minor split on the left upper leg. (see pic) The doll's original pink skin color paint has worn off most of her limbs showing a natural looking white. (check pics) Her facial finish and coloring is exceptionally good.  Her facial coloring and painted eye details are strong and her blue tin eyes have full lashes and open/close easily. She has a real natural hair wig that is full and clean.  The doll is unmarked, however there is one small "O" embossed on the shoulder plate.  I believe she could be a Horsman doll due to her tin blue eyes and an open mouth with upper teeth, all hallmarks of Horsman design. She is wearing her original antique clothing.  Her dress is in excellent condition showing no wear and she is wearing a cotton full slip and onesie.  Her socks and shoes are vintage.  The shoes are white leather is excellent condition too.  The doll is clean and comes from a nonsmoking home.
