    MODERN CARNIVAL GLASS
    Late 1960's - 1984
    Imperial Glass Company
of Bellaire, Ohio began production of Carnival Glass around 1909.  Beginning in the late 1960s, Imperial Glass began reissuing some of their original patterns, and reproducing patterns from other makers using the original molds bought at auction when the original owner closed its doors. This led to a revitalization of interest in Carnival Glass. Modern (Contemporary) Imperial Carnival Glass will bear one of the following trademarks:
    IG
    (Imperial Glass 1950s-early 1970s)
    LIG
    (Lenox Imperial Glass 1972-1981)
    ALIG
(Arthur Lorch Imperial Glass 1981-1982) - The ALIG trademark may be found on items produced by Summit Glass which bought the molds but did not remove the marks.

    Contemporary Condition
refers to the lack of production issues which plagued antique glassware. Modern glassware is relatively free of those production issues due to modernized machinery, advances in glass making chemistry, and quality control. Even so, because modern Art Glass is generally still hand shaped, hand-painted and/or hand-iridized, each piece is technically a one-of-a-kind, and you may still find a minor production issue from time to time.
    Combined Shipping
is offered for both domestic and international shipment of multiple purchases. All items are bubble wrapped and cushioned with peanuts; no tape is used on the bubble wrap. Cartons are
    labeled GLASS or FRAGILE, and
shipped in one business day; if I'm away then ASAP upon return.
All shipments are insured. International shipments will travel via USPS Priority Mail International for insurance and tracking purposes. The declared customs value may also include the shipping charge depending on your Country's import policies.
