American Character Doll Antique Composition Chuckles? 19-20” Vgc Cloth Body

Upper bed is a 20 to 19 inch antique/vintage composition doll made by American character doll company. She’s marked in the back of her neck with an a.m. character doll. She has fine crazing on her arms on her face and her legs. She’s not missing any fingers or toes. There’s no large cracks. She has wonderful eyes that open and shut. She has eyelashes and painted eyelashes and red lips. She has two teeth and open mouth and I felt tongue. She has a light brown mohair wig glued to her head. At least I think it’s mohair it’s very soft. Again I don’t know her value all the dolls need to be cleaned. Any information that you have would be appreciated. Sold as is. She doesn’t have that dreaded deteriorating plastic smell because she’s composition. But she was stored with a variety of dolls in the basement so she smellsLike a basement.
She has a left leg that has a crack in the finish from the top of the leg to mid calf and her finish on the top of her foot is rough I try to photo that is like a bubble or some thing.
I think she could be baby chuckles. Based on research. Not sure.
My Mom suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. She was an avid Doll collector, Doll Doctor, Bear maker, fabric queen. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. She spent many hours dismembering her doll collection. So I am putting dolls (or portions of dolls) up for bid. I am  not a doll collector, so I am describing these doll heads, arms etc the best I can. Keen eyes will know more then I do. I usually do know bisque from composition, from plastic. Sadly the bodies are not matched up with the heads. So this is like a treasure hunt. All items sold as is. I will adjust listings as I am given more information.
