Antique 1900’s Scottish Composition Jointed Doll 15 Inches Girl Doll. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This Scottish lass is old old old! This doll’s eyes open and close upon being laid down/picked up.
Okay, let’s talk about flaws. A doll of this age is bound to have some form of damages - afterall, this doll is older than dirt!
Her hat is somewhat matted, yet so so brittle. Face has some crazing effects, more noticeably, the composition around the eyes and mouth has begun to flake and chip (definitely adding to the creepy doll effect!) Body is also hard composition, left the head and extremities. Original Scottish attire. Clothing does appear to be dirty. I do not know how to go about cleaning it, therefore I will leave that up to the buyer. I do know that some buyers prefer the dolls and accessories to remain unwashed as it adds to its antique ‘charm’.
