    Description

1920s Large Composition 26" Babydoll in really great condition.
This babydoll belonged to my mother-in-law as a child in Bellevue, Pennsylvania.  The doll had been packed away for decades.  I received a very large box of baby dolls and this was in it.  Looks real when sitting in a chair due to size; weighs almost 3 lbs; chubby for a babydoll.  I tried cleaning him up but I did not want to ruin him and thought I'd let the expert who purchases him finish.

    Light Blue/Grey Eyes with eyelashes

    Orange lips
    Condition
    Cloth Body; needs cleaning
Hair on back of head is lightening in areas (See Photo)
    No apparent Crackling
    No Chips
Paint is peeling on some parts of arms and legs; hard to detect since they skin and paint are the same color
One tiny crack on back of leg (See Photo )
The voice box works when picking up the baby first time then when you set it down for awhile it will work again.  This is why I say it works intermittantly.  I suppose it has a spring that needs replaced or something.
The eyes worked perfectly until I cleaned them with a dry Q-tip.  The eyes stay open when sitting up and close when laying down but after picking up again you'll have to give them a little help to open them up and they stay open.
Please look very well at pictures and if you need more please message me and I'm happy to supply further photos.
