Antique Boy Composition Doll Unknown Maker No Mark 14"

Description

Antique boy composition doll from unknown maker with no makers mark.  Has a "5" on the back of the doll.    I am not a doll expert so i am going to do my best to describe this doll.   He is 14" tall with composition head and torso.  He has painted blue eyes, nice blushing on cheeks, red painted lips and nostrils. He is marked with a "5" on his back.  I believe his arms and legs are wood.  The wood is painted a skin tone color and the areas that are the joints look like clothespin tops    white socks with shiny black shoes with ribbons.  Wood has some chipping of the paint. Some scratching and chipping to the composition in areas.  Joints are attached by woven rubber banding type material.  All intact and attached.  Comes with clean outfit as shown. . Measures approx. 14".
