Antique Girl Doll 16" Restored Composition, Cloth Body Unbranded + Rocking Chair

Description

Listing includes one darling 16" doll and a wooden rocking chair!  The doll is an antique, has been restored (body may be original - not sure), and comes with a dress w/pantaloons, an underdress w/pantaloons (may be original), and shoes and socks.  Her wig is new, blonde, and has a ribbon.  She looks a lot like the Madame Alexander dolls of the time, but there are no markings indicating her manufacturer.  Not sure if they were lost in the restoration, or if she is just unbranded.  She has a "mama" device inside her body, but it makes no "mama" sound.
The blue dress and pantaloons aren't original.  They are professionally made, however. No tags, just a number "16" written on the neck facing.  The elastic in the sleeves and pantaloons is losing its stretch.  Dress fastens with two snaps in the back.
The white underdress and pantaloons are homemade, I think, but well done. This is the dress I took the main picture from because it fits so nicely. Two snaps in the back of the dress and old elastic.  Lace trims the neck and armholes of the dress.
Shoes & socks (I don't think they are original, but I could be wrong).  White sued with nylon socks.
The rocking chair is wood, delicately assembled, made in China - not an antique.  It fits her perfectly, so I'm selling them together.  The pictures show the chair to have an orange tint, but it is actually more of a rosewood seat and accents (stressed color) with mostly dark wood frame.  Very cute
