1964
Concert Tour Booklet
This Booklet was issued in 1964 at the time of The Beatles first North American Summer Concert Tour (8-19-64 TO 9-20-64)
It was sold at all of the venues during that concert tour. (This booklet was not available from the Fan Club.)
It measures 9-inches X 12-inches.
It has 12 double-sided pages (so there are 24 pages of images) excluding the images and text on the inside of the front and rear covers.
It was published by Creswell Publications, Inc, 147 West 42
nd
Street, New York, N.Y. 10036.
It has a 1964 copywrite date printed on the inside of the rear cover.
Both the US and UK 1964
standard
concert tour
booklets
had purple covers like the Concert Tour Booklet in this auction; however, they measured 12-inches X 12-inches. The US 12-inch X 12-inch booklet was published by Souvenir Publishing, New York.
I understand that this is an
Uncommon A
lternate
(or Additional)
1964 Concert Tour Booklet which is a different size
and from different publishers,
but
identical in page and photo layouts to the 12-inch X 12-inch US Concert Booklet.
I’ve also been told that this purple 9-inch X 12-inch Concert Booklet was produced to supplement the 12-inch X 12-inch purple concert booklets that were anticipated to sell out at the concert venues.
This 1964 CONCERT TOUR BOOKLET is in NEAR MINT CONDITION
with
very light
overall wear. There are
NO missing or damaged pages
. All pages are securely stapled inside the cover. There are
NO creases on the cover or on any pages
. There is just
very, very light
wear on the spine.(I had to use a plastic display stand to prop open the cover for picture, so as not to bend the spine.)
A VERY NICE COPY of this CONCERT TOUR BOOKLET!
