Early unmarked 15" compo baby - decal eyes - oilcloth legs GC

Description

Early 15" unmarked composition head with blue decal eyes, painted upper & lower lashes (some lower lashes missing on right eye), red accented eyes & nostrils, blushed cheeks, light rubs in eyebrows,  head has no crazing or spidering, has a small tan 'spot' under the right cheek, a small dark 'mark' behind the left cheek,  quite a few color rubs in the hair area, small color rubs on the closed red lips,  molded reddish-blond hair. The lower compo arms have a small paint rub on the left thumb & top of index finger, right hand lower pinkie finger is missing, cloth above compo has been replaced and edge needs tightened as arm slips out of cloth easily. The original hard stuffed cloth body has a non-working crier inside, is in good vintage condition with light age related soiling, no bad odors. Tan oilcloth legs & feet are very nice. Baby wears a vintage ( somewhat crudely made) ivory cotton damask dress with  a pink gauzy cotton ruffle around the neck with a pink ribbon bow in front,  matching color cotton bonnet has a pink ruffle in the same pink fabric with ribbon ties. Both pieces are mostly hand stitched. A very sturdy old doll with a lovely face.
