Extremely RARE, darling 16" composition, antique 1921 Amberg MIBS doll excellent

Description

This adorable and so very hard to find, antique jointed composition doll,
MIBS,
was
designed by Hazel Drukker in 1921
for manufacture by
Louis Amberg & Sons.
She stands,
16" tall
with a cold cast composition,
turned shoulderhead
with deeply molded and painted, reddish blonde, curly hair. She has the most precious expression with blue painted eyes having lots of detail including finely painted eyelashes and highlights, molded brows and cheeks detail, sweet youthful chin, nose and closed mouth. She also has her original, hard stuffed cloth torso and upper arms with composition lower arms with molded fingers and pin jointed, full composition legs with molded knee detail, all with
wonderful original paint finish
(silky smooth) including her molded (unpainted) maryjane-type shoes. She has no cracks or chips, no holes or repairs, no repainting and no odors and is from a smoke free home. She has very slight paint wear to her hair and finger tips and her joints all work properly. She is wearing darling, antique cotton, onesie-style undies beneath a matching antique cotton chemise, both having been with her for many years. (loc 4)
This very unique doll rarely comes up for sale and she is an excellent example. Last photos show other antique all bisque, MIBS dolls, not included and listed separately.
