French Boudoir Bed Doll 1930s Vintage Pattern #13 ~ Colonial Belle Dresses

Description

This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage pattern to make French Doll costumes for your 30 inch tall Boudoir Doll. From the back cover of the pattern, "These quaint and delightful costumes bring back the charm of old colonial days when panniers, laces, rosebuds and ribbons prevailed. The doll wears two organdie petticoats to give the hooped skirt effect. The costumes are designed to fit the average boudoir doll (about 30 inches high, with 10 1/2-inch chest measurement)." This pattern includes one dress pattern which can be constructed in three ways, a hat pattern and an underwear pattern. I include a COLOR printout copy of the front cover and black and white copies of the back cover, instructions and the complete pattern. Please email me with any questions that you have.
Dress A is very dainty made of crisp, white organdie. Pink silk rosebuds sewed to bits of blue satin ribbon, rows of lace, tiny blue bows and a blue ribbon sash trim the costume. The little black velvet hat is tied with a blue ribbon.
Dress B is illustrated in pale green taffeta trimmed with gold lace and tiny black velvet bows. It is very elegant with peach colored silk rosebuds sewed to bits of black velvet ribbon and finished with a black velvet sash. The black velvet hat is trimmed with rosebuds and
tied on with velvet ribbon. The underwear is of peach colored organdie trimmed with white lace.
Dress C is made of pink taffeta with panniers of flowered silk and is trimmed with gold lace and rose colored velvet bows, sash and streamers. The underwear is of white organdie. No rosebuds are necessary to complete this outfit.
