MICKEY SORCERER ANRI HAND CARVED AND LACQUERED LIMITED EDITION WOODEN FIGURINE, #483, TEN INCHES TALL. FROM THE "SORCERER'S APPRENTICE" SEGMENT OF THE 1940 DISNEY ANIMATED FILM, "FANTASIA". CARVED FROM CHOICE SECTIONS OF AMERICAN MAPLE, AND HAND LACQUERED WITH SEVERAL COATS TO GIVE IT A SMOOTH, LUSTROUS FINISH.
BRAND NEW, WITH ANRI AND DISNEY CERTIFICATES OF AUTHENTICITY. STORED FOR DECADES AND NEVER DISPLAYED, ITS COLOR IS UNCHANGED.
Like its smaller brothers, this figure was made in limited quantities, and this one is #483.
NOTE:  I JUST NOTICED A TINY HAIRLINE CRACK ACROSS HIS UPRAISED FINGER AND KNUCKLES. IT'S BARELY NOTICEABLE AND DOES NOT AFFECT THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE FIGURE IN ANY WAY.  I HAVE REDUCED THE PRICE, ACCORDINGLY.

ANRI was located in St. Christina, South Tyrol, Italy, and produced some of the finest wooden figurines and music boxes in the world. Noted for making multiple sizes of the very same figures, to make some of the most interesting groupings imaginable. Each figure was meticulously and delicately hand painted with muted and subdued colors, making them almost lifelike.
