Partially Restored Antique 16-inch Effanfee Mama Doll 2

What a lucky little toddler this girl is!  She is all dressed up in an amazing dress and bonnet just for you.  First, let us describe our girl: she is a 16-inch Effanbee, but there are imperfections that go with her age.  *PLEASE STUDY ALL PHOTOS CAREFULLY AS THEY ARE THE TRUEST DESCRIPTION OF THIS DOLL'S CONDITION* There is paint loss on her face (minor) which has been worked on to minimize it, and her arms (major).  We don't repaint here, that is best left up to those with steadier hands than ours.  As the paint loss on her face is so minor, we like her the way she is, but being disabled, we kind of like flawed individuals, but some craze control has been applied and only the loss to the left of her lips is really noticeable, now. Others may want perfection and the buyer may want to restore the paint loss, further.  She has tin sleepy eyes which seem good with no real crytallization.  Her body is worn and dirty gray and you can see the outline of her crier which was purported to work, but did not for us, so we have replaced it now.  She is wearing an antique curly wig, which is probably synthetic, but was unmarked.  It is very shiny and cute on her.  She wears white lace edged socks and soft leather shoes.  Her pantalettes match her dress which is a soft, powder blue, edged on the bottom with maribou feather trim. The bodice of the dress is a mass of tiny ribbon rosebuds and there are little embroidered roses on her collar.  Her straw poke bonnet is decorated by our Mad Hatter who is back again this year.  Sprigs of soft feathers are gathered at the sides and middle of the bonnet.  Tiny blue flowers in hues from the palest blue to dark decorate the brim, along with some tiny pink-tinged blue blossums, baby's breath, and leaves.  It ties under the baby's chin with matching blue ties to her dress.  She is so completely precious, how can you resist not taking taking her home?
