♥ Wonderful and unique, 29" long, circa 1920s, fine quality,
turning
(swivel) composition shoulderhead,
boudoir
or
bed doll
having a
long composition upper torso to her waist
with lovely deep molded breasts and original long,
blue cloth torso
, long
blue cloth, slender arms
with composition lower arms and hands and long shapely,
blue cloth legs
. Produced by the prolific,
*Anita Novelty Company of New York
, she has extremely pretty molded and painted features including long slender nose, lovely complexion and blush, pretty shaped, SMILING lips with white to denote teeth,
blue eyeshadow
, arched eyebrows and evenly colored complexion. She has a gorgeous, golden blonde wig with soft curls and pink rosette. And wears an absolutely lovely, original long fitted, Victorian-style, fitted blue gown with dropped waist and lots of antique lace ruffles and flounces with wonderful long, lace panel and puffy sleeves and original antique, undergarment and stockings. *See her on pages 52-53 in "

She is in fair to good condition with no damages, no chips, flakes or nicks and no repairs, no repaint, some very light paint wear, as shown,  around her forehead and mouth as to be expected, no odors as she is from a smoke free home   These
Art Deco
dolls were often used to decorate a bed or boudoir chair and were "
quite the rage
" during the 30s and 40s.  Most were discarded long ago. She is a
very rare and desirable example
.
