Very RARE Horsman c1911, antique compo/cloth, labeled "PUPPY PIPPIN" doll toy

ADORABLE and
extremely hard to find,
signed:
E.I.H. cprt. 1911
on his composition neck, (beneath the collar
) "PUPPY PIPPIN", doll toy dog,
designed by Grace Drayton
and produced by Horsman, circa 1911. He has a hard-stuffed, brown velour body, legs and tail and is jointed to be able to assume different poses. He has incised and painted, big round, side-glancing eyes, cute molded and
painted ears, nose and closed mouth
and has the full,
sewn-on label
on his chest:
Trade Mark ~"Puppy Pippin".
He is in generally fair to good condition with smoothly working joints and only some old re-stitching at the joining of his neck and general paint flaking. No other damages, no stains, no fading, no cracks, no repaint and no odors as he is from a smoke free home. (loc 52) Won't he make the perfect companion for your "
