For bid is this vintage 1963 Imperial Cranberry Glass Springerle Sweetsdish pedestal candy dish.  Pattern is inspired by a 300 year old German Springerle Cookie Mold.  6 decorative  Intaglio panels of Medieval Guildsman highlighting America Craftsmen like chimney sweep, carpenter, blacksmith, iron worker and more.  A Springerler is a carved wooden mold where the cookie dough is pressed over the mold.  Please see photo of a springerler mold and photo of advertisement Imperial Glass introduced in 1963.   These items are not included in the auction.  Photos are shown only to explain the Springerle Sweetsdish and how it was named.  Weighs 3 pounds not boxed.  9 ¼” tall and 6” wide.  No chips or cracks.
