WONDERFUL HOMEMADE CLOTH DOLL - circa: 1910

I believe that this cloth doll was made during the "character period" of the German bisque era.  She sure has a lot of character.  She is 19 inches tall.  The chair is not included.  She is not signed in any way which is the norm on these homemade cloth dolls.  They were made to have fun and to play with.  Please notice the pictures of the body; which is in generally excellent condition.  The body is very firm.  Hello - now to the face.  isn't the face just wonderful - you bet !  Notice the curly auburn yarn hair.  The red check dress is faded in the front but vivid colors in the back.  And her hat sets her off - sure adds to the character.  I am sure that this darling antique cloth doll will grace any doll collection.
